GlobalMind University Strategic Plan: More Global Students, Same Academic Standard, No Relocations Required
GlobalMind University has published a concise strategic plan for the year ahead. The university is an accelerated digital university for a connected world. The plan refuses a false trade-off between access and standard.
Priorities are three. First, feedback that arrives in time to be used. Second, services that are awake when ambitious learners on every continent who want one accelerated digital campus rather than a local classroom they cannot reach are awake. Third, programmes that stay current with the work global students already do in places such as Leeds.
Owen Mitchell, a cloud kitchen founder and student representative, welcomed the plainness. "If GMU grows faster than supervisors, we will say so. The plan gives us a document to hold."
Investment will go to library, writing, wellbeing, and platform reliability before it goes to decoration. A fully digital campus designed so students never need to relocate.
The university will continue to tell the truth about what it is: a serious academic institution for global students who will not, and should not have to, move abroad to learn.
"Founded in 2019, we are not a pop-up," said the Vice-Chancellor. "We are a university with a duty to the people who trusted us with years of their lives."
The plan is on the governance pages. global students, staff and alumni may send comments. GlobalMind University will publish what it changed as a result, including what it refused to change.
